The Villa at Wrea Green, incredible creativity by Flower Design and award winning wedding singer Howard Wing
Wow! What an incredible The Villa at Wrea Green wedding this was. Absolutely loved photographing Julie and Tom’s wedding here in December. It was my first time as a wedding photographer at The Villa. They had just opened their new extension for the wedding guests to mingle after the ceremony.
It all started at Julie’s parents house only around the corner where the preparations began. I then met Tom and the lads at The Grapes pub on Wrea Green itself for some quick casual photos before meeting Julie again at The Villa to finish getting ready. The ceremony room looked just incredible as it had been cleverly decorated by Flower Design. Tall columns of flowers, poses, bouquets and lots of smaller details with flowers in bottle. It’s a must see, scroll down and take a look. So cleverly done by Jane and Jason at Flower Design in Lancashire. If you haven’t booked your florist yet, you MUST speak to Jane!
Julie’s sister gave birth only days before the wedding and wasn’t able to attend, but via modern technology watched the ceremony by using Facetime, and they were part of the photos too!
After a few natural photos of Julie and Tom together in the December heat (it was cold!), the room was yet again decorated beautifully in flowers, but it was as the guests enjoyed the meal the entertainment really began. Multi-award winning and overall top singer/entertainer Howard Wing took the roof off! Every guest singing along, some were given the mike, and some funny pranks made this The Villa wedding so much fun to be part of and a joy to photograph. Howard stays well into the night ensuring your first dance and following dancing is a memorable.
I’m photographing at The Villa at Wrea Green again next month so keep checking back to see that. If you’re getting married at The Villa yourself and are looking for a photographer who approaches the day with an entirely natural feel, please get in touch.
