Hello, I’m David,
Opposite is a rare photo of me. I hate my photo being taken. I understand what it is like to have camera in your face. But photography is important, so I have developed a style of wedding photography that allows you to enjoy every second of your day, without being bothered by your photographer.
Here is some information about me:
I’m husband to my beautiful wife Lois. 8 years ago we got married in the Lake District – one of our favourite places anywhere on the planet. Life just couldn’t be better with our new family with Finlay who is 6 and Phoebe is 3. We live just south of the Trafford Centre in Urmston, Manchester, very convenient for shopping, but it means we struggle to go anywhere in December with all the Christmas traffic!
We are lucky that Lois’s parents, in retirement, own a holiday cottage on Anglesey so we all bundle in the car and head over to chill on the beach and make our own adventures on the island whenever we can. Lois and the kids often go without me as I am shooting weddings most Saturday’s, but I’ll leave early and arrive for breakfast on the Sunday morning.
As well as being an obvious camera freak, I love cars, vintage video games and watching cricket – usually whilst editing photos. I’m a cider drinker, steak eater, Lake District mountain climber and I’m quite fond of Haribo – it’s rare the children ever get any!
Thank you hugely to Brett Harkness for the photo.
