Manchester is one of the UK’s culturally rich cities with a world of history. The birth of the industrial revolution, the pinnacle of sport and a thriving arts and music scene. Within Albert Square is the iconic Manchester Town Hall, a mighty Victorian Gothic building. Photographing weddings here are some of my favourite. Exhibits to visit include the Science and Industry Museum as well as Manchester Art Gallery. If it is sport and football you are more interested in then the globally recognised Old Trafford and Etihad Stadium might be of interest to you. Moving away from the city centre, Northern Quarter is famed for it’s street art, cafes and live music. Historic canals adorned with giant warehouses still stand and something you can visit. Manchester really does have it all. The iconic wedding venue Victoria Warehouse is somewhere I have photographed regularly. Manchester is the birthplace of some very famous people, such as Emmeline Pankhurst, the political activist, and the Gallagher brothers who formed the band Oasis.
