I was absolutely delighted that Hannah and Paddy invited me to be their Soughton Hall wedding photographer. It was my first trip to this beautiful venue in North Wales about half an hour away from Chester. Set in acres of woodland and expansive grounds, this stunning venue is picturesque and the perfect place for a wedding.

No Posing Wedding Photography at Soughton Hall

As a wedding photographer who enjoys shooting at Soughton Hall I was spoilt for choice to create natural photos that were visually striking. Hannah looked stunning in her wedding dress and Paddy looked sharp in his suit. The light at Soughton Hall was just incredible, and with large windows, wood panelled rooms, and artwork in abundance. It seemed that no matter where people were, the images just looked great. They had their wedding ceremony outside in the garden, which was a first time for me at this wedding venue. A beautiful hot summers day and everything had the bets time. If you didn’t know already, I am a documentary photographer, so no posing or setting up shots at all. I capture the moments as they happen. So the 70 Soughton Hall photos you see below, every single one are 100% natural without any orchestration at all.

No additional travel costs for weddings at this beautiful venue.

A huge congratulations to Hannah and Paddy on their wedding at Soughton Hall. I had such a top day and I’m very much looking forward to being a Soughton Hall wedding photographer again soon. Here is just a preview of 70 photos from their day:
