This incredible Manchester wedding venue describes itself as an ‘Unconventional venue’. Rightly so. Wedding photography at Victoria Warehouse is just wonderful. A little different to most to most places to get married with it’s old cotton sheds, set in an urban environment by a canal. So interesting though. So many quirky corners and things to feature as a backdrop to the photos. Industry is everywhere form the large steal doors it takes two people to open, to rivets to brick – masses of Manchester brick.

Industrial Wedding Venue in Manchester

Jenny and Mike had both their ceremony and reception there. Mike arrived in a Caterham with his best man, and Jenny in a nice Jaguar. The civil ceremony was held at the rear of the building. A large open room with a few steal columns. A concrete floor. Fairy lights illuminating everywhere, and all over the ceiling really made this room come alive. Difficult conditions to photograph in but when you get it right the results where amazing. Set in Trafford Park, Victoria Warehouse is one of my favourite places to photograph a wedding.

Party time at Victoria Warehouse

After the ceremony it was time for celebration in the opposing room for their champagne reception. The wedding breakfast was back in the ceremony room after this. Then the party. What a party. They had an incredible DJ who mashed dance song after dance song and everyone had such a good time. Even the current Mayor of Manchester, who was a guest, got involved – there is a great photo of him wearing his pin, along with a tiara and sporting a caution sign!
