It’s been a while since I have blogged. A month ago today baby Phoebe was born and things have been a little busy to say the least. Hopefully back on it from now. Jenny and Gareth asked me to head-over to wales to photograph their wedding at the beautiful wedding venue – Plas Isaf. This was my first time as a Plas Isaf wedding photographer and what a great wedding and venue it turned out to be. Here is just a small section of images from their day.
Wedding Photography at Plas Isaf in Wales
I totally loved the fact there was a balcony above the wedding ceremony at Plas Isaf. This is unique compared to other venues and something I had to take advantage of. During the first dance later in the day, I placed a spare camera on the balcony set to take a photo every 2 seconds. This gave me a different angle which you can see below – a photo taken by the camera itself, without me interacting with it at all. I’m certainly going to be trying this at other venues if possible.
One of the lasting memories for me from the day was Gareth’s close relationship with his dad. Firstly quite a funny guy, but the bond they had was obvious throughout the day. Just see from yourself from some of the photos below. Thank you to Herve Gillet for assisting on the day.

Below are just 20 photos from their day. My favourite placed at the top actually. This was during the signing of the register and Jenny’s dad told Gareth – “She’s your responsibility now son”, and of course they all cracked up laughing.
