Natural Wedding Photography
I was so excited for Mike and Christina’s Knowsley Hall wedding photography. I have been to this incredible Cheshire wedding venue a few times before and it is certainly one of my favourite venues. Such a grand building, and open spaces in the garden for photos, it is pretty much the perfect place to photograph a wedding.
Before their Knowsley Hall wedding reception, they had a beautiful church service. The church had an unusual feature in that the pulpit stood high in the very centre, over looking the entire wedding service giving a unique vantage point. See this below.
Wedding Photography at Knowsley Hall
It was then on to photograph the wedding reception at Knowsley Hall. Later in the day, just before the speeches started, the sun started to set and an opportunity that couldn’t be missed. I asked Christina and Mike if they didn’t mind spending 10 minutes outside after their dessert to get some natural but stunning photos of them together. The photo above is my absolute favourite. Just a simple, natural moment of them enjoying themselves, but combined with the warmth of the setting sun, making this one to treasure forever. No forced or fake posing, only natural photography.
Below is just a small sample of their Knowsley Hall wedding photography out of the hundreds they received. Please have a look through. I want to say a huge thank you to top wedding photographer and Nikon Ambassador Mark Seymour for driving up all the way from London to second shoot. At the time of the wedding my wife was 40 weeks pregnant and Mark came along with a view of taking over if I had to leave the wedding.
It must be said that the whole day including the weather, the building, the grounds and the food were all excellent. I enjoyed photographing this wedding at Knowsley Hall immensely and went home feeling elated to have shared the day with two new friends. As Knowsley Hall weddings go, it was up there with the best.
