Are you looking for a photographer for your Castlefield Rooms wedding?

It was a joy being Victoria and Alex’s Castlefield Rooms wedding photographer. Located on Castle Street in the Manchester city centre. This newly married couple had the most relaxed wedding day, and it was so great being the photographer. Below is a handful of images from their celebration, all taken in a natural unposed style. If you are getting married at Dukes, Castlefield Rooms, or any other venue, then please get in touch.

Wedding Photos at Castlefield Rooms

This is a unique place to have a wedding. It offers some incredible features that you just don’t find anywhere else. Full of history in the area, with visuals of the industrial revolution all around you. This urban setting makes Castlefield Rooms different to all others – full of strong architecture which makes for strong and complex compositions in the camera. I love photographing here. It is part of the Albert Shed’s group in the heart of the city. There is incredible heritage in the area and I fully understand why bride and grooms would like to get married here. Wedding photos at Castlefield Rooms is one of the best.

Locations for photos around Castlefield Rooms

Right next door is the conversation area of Castlefield. Originally the location of a Roman Fort called Mancunium. Today it is right by the bar of Duke’s 92, set of the Bridgewater Canal and plenty of locks. For wedding couples to walk along the canal is a great location for photos, but I prefer the strong metal work above. There are lots of large steel viaducts around. So even if it is raining you can have shelter for your photo time. These are only a short walk from Castlefield rooms. But you might have to walk past lots of people enjoying themselves which you can see in the pictures below.

Weddings in Manchester’s history

If my wife and I were to get married again, I would sure consider a room in the Castlefield area as it offers a unique backdrop. If you are after an urban wedding this is a must. If you want lots of greenery then I would not suggest so. The event space that Castlefield Rooms has is great for wedding photography. Their website says it is has a ‘superior elegant atmosphere’ – I would totally agree. You can ask any wedding photographer and they would all agree they get excited to be asked to work here. You get such a reliable location as it doesn’t matter if it is bright sunshine (unlikely in Manchester), or a rainy day, it matters not. Weddings at Castlefield Rooms are up there with any, anywhere in the UK.
