I set off early for Liz & Nick’s Yorebride House wedding photography, leaving Manchester behind me and crossing the Yorkshire Dales with a spattering of snow and the morning sun, had to be one of the most beautiful drives I have ever done. It was cold, very cold, but it was only a few days after Christmas. Liz & Nick, who work in TV, had planned a magical winter wedding at Yorebridge House including a Papakata in the grounds. If you’re having a winter wedding, you must see this to get ideas…
Liz wore a stunning Amanda Wakely dress and a pair of black Jimmy Choo’s. They had their wedding ceremony in Yorebride House itself, then after a short drinks reception we headed into the Papakata which was warmed through this a blazing open fire near the entrance. This really was something special and really gave their winter wedding a cosey feel to it. The Papakata was decorated with lovely arrangements from Elise Flowers. Liz and Nick were keen on only having natural photos through the day, so we didn’t do any formal group photos at all, and they went for a 5 minute walk together which I stole a few photos of them together without any posing at all, like the photo above.
Liz’s Dad’s speech was one fo the funniest father of the bride speeches I have ever heard, it had everyone in fits of laughter. Then later int he evening, they had a super band called Classique who got the Papakata filled with people dancing. What an incredible day for Yorebridge House wedding photography – I had the best time and I hope you enjoy looking through this small selection of photos from the day. A huge thank you to manager Damien fromt he venue who was helpful all day.
