I had been looking forward to photographing this Windy Harbour Farm Hotel wedding all year because I love the Glossop area. I knew that if the weather was right, there were opportunities for amazing photos over looking the hills from Richard and Steph’s Windy Harbour Farm wedding. Sophie got ready at her childhood home with her two bridesmaids and two flower girls, who entertained us all. Richard and Sophie got married at All Saint’s Parish Church in Old Glossop. The balcony made for impressive views over the entire service, but I had to navigate the smallest spiral staircase I have ever been up. Getting back down was even harder! Sophie’s brother conducted a full brass band during the service which got their guests dancing in parts. After a lot of fun throwing the confetti and photographing the group shots, everyone made their way the couple of miles up the road to their Windy Harbour Farm Hotel wedding reception, where a marquee was stood in a field opposite overlooking the rolling hills – the perfect marquee location. The photos overlooking the hills are some of my favourite this year and I’m looking forward to returning again next year for my next Windy Harbour Farm Hotel wedding. A relaxed and fun wedding, gorgeous bride and groom and amazing scenery for everyone to enjoy. Congratulations Richard and Sophie!
