A White Hart Lydgate wedding on a sunny autumn day is truly a marvelous setting for a wedding. When it comes to holding a wedding near Manchester, there are few places that really capture the romance of the day like this. It’s always a bit of a gamble holding a wedding out of the summer months, but luckily for Cara and Matthew, the day dawned bright and fresh and things were looking rosy. After their church ceremony, Matthew and Cara were transported in style to their wedding breakfast at the White Hart in a beautiful wedding car. In the wedding breakfast room with oak beams and lots of natural light through its glass ceiling, their pink and white themed decorations (including Matthews tie) looked crisp and their flower arrangements were stunning, with deep and pale pink blooms. The food provided for the wedding breakfast was fabulous, and the room was perfect for photography. Because of the natural light provided by the glass ceiling the resulting photographs have a romantic, natural look to them.
It’s an easy venue to get great photos. The old stone building at the White Hart Lydgate wedding contrasts against green gardens with many of the guests enjoying the autumn sunshine and catching the last rays while they could. Most of the photos were taken outside, with the weather being beautiful, sunny and crisp. However, it was in the evening that conditions provided the most stunning sunset.
Cara and Matthew agreed to take a short walk across the road to capture it from within the natural backdrop of a farmer’s field. What could be more stunning than the strikingly beautiful sunset, with colours of yellow and orange lighting up the sky behind them. A stunning and romantic end to their special day. This incredible photo (see above) will take centre stage in the Folio fine-art album which I will be designing for them soon.
To Matthew and Cara, massive congratulations again to you both, thank you for asking me to be part of your special day 🙂
