Rivington Hall Barn Wedding Photography – Amy & Ben

This is just one of those special places and a joy to be a Rivington Hall Barn wedding photographer. I have captured celebrations at this venue with my silent-shutter  camera several times in my award-winning natural style and just love it here.

Wedding Photography at Rivington Hall Barn

It was my absolute pleasure to be invited to photograph Amy & Ben’s incredible wedding at Rivington Hall Barn. A beautiful venue situated in the Lancashire countryside, just under Rivington Pike. Preparations for their marriage at this venue with landscaped gardens took place only a few miles away. My style of wedding photography, and why couples getting wed book me is for my natural style, capturing shots without them knowing. I blend into the background acting like a guest with a camera. Very little planning takes place, but the quality and finish of the images and album is created by following and photographing people in a creative way.

Running late for the wedding ceremony

It’s not uncommon for the bride to be late, some would say it was their prerogative to do so. However, Amy and her bridesmaids were very late. This created a horrible situation at one point as the registrars for the ceremony had to leave for another wedding and time was running short. No word of a lie, 45 minutes after the original start time, as the registrars were heading for their cars, Amy arrived. One of the hotel staff brought her in her own car as the wedding car would have been too late. There is photography below were you can see how worried Ben was waiting for her, and my favourite photo of the day is the one of her arriving at Rivington Hall Barn. The sheer panic on dad’s face. In the end everything was just perfect. The hall being such a spectacle to get married in. I love photographing Rivington Hall Barn weddings.

Drinks, canapes and a good party at Rivington Barn

After the ceremony at Rivington Hall Barn, everyone took advantage of the good weather and headed outside for the reception. All their family and friends having a good chat and laugh together out on the patio overlooking the trees and gardens this wonderful venue has. Below is a showcase of just a few of their photos from the day. Natural photos of real moments, mostly taken with just natural light. A huge congratulations to Amy and Ben for tying the knot. It was a pleasure being your wedding photographer at Rivington Hall Barn.

Thank you to Matt Warrington for assisting on the day.
