Perfect City Centre Venue
Set in the very heart of the city of Manchester is a luxury and stylish hotel called the Raddison Blu Edwardian. What a wonderful wedding venue to photograph at. Built in 1853 with stunning architecture, it was for a very long time the Free Trade Hall, home to music and many popular event. Now one of the regions best venues to hold an event or wedding. It’s urban surroundings and romantic rooms is perfect for a civil ceremony with three licensed rooms. En suite lounges, it’s modern interior and exclusive use makes this very popular. James and Abby had a large Jewish wedding ceremony, and I was so pleased they invited me along to capture their memories for them with my camera.
Jewish Wedding Ceremony
Both James and Abby got ready in the hotel, coincidentally right next door to each other which made it easy to jump between the rooms. The groom and groomsmen got dressed up smart and headed downstairs for the tisch. Abby had the most beautiful wedding dress, which her mum and bridesmaids helped her into. It was quite an emotional moment when her dad came into the room to see her for the first time. Quite emotional. After the gathering of the boys in the tisch, the bedeken at the Raddison Blue Edwardian was just down the hall. Again, very emotional times, and lots to photograph.

The ceremony was just lovely, then we headed out onto the streets for some natural photos before it got dark. Next came the most fun part of a Jewish wedding and I bet the hotel had never seen anything like it before. Israeli dancing is just a joy to shoot. So much fun, fast moving and nearly every wedding guest involved. This was a wedding photography at the Raddison Blu Edwardian like no one previously.
