Earlier this summer I was delighted to be asked to be Chris & Jenny’s Owen House Barn wedding photographer. This is a relatively new Cheshire wedding venue and my first time photographing a wedding here. What a beautiful venue – a working farm and converted barn that still have very much a rustic feel about it. After looking around many barn venues Jenny & Chris fell in love with Owen House Wedding Barn and it was an absolute joy to photograph at.
Jenny and the girls got ready at the farm house only a hundred yards away from the main wedding building. Sarah Morton was the hair and make-up artist and did a great job. It was then a short walk over the barn for the ceremony. After the ceremony it was drinks and canapes out on the patio. We then headed t the back of the building for some family group photos on piles of hay and we stayed in that area for some relaxed photos of Jenny and Chris together. I was spoilt for choice as a Owen House Barn wedding photographer because there were so many cute and quirky farm artifacts scattered around that could be used in the pictures. The sun was also shining through which was great!
In the evening after some funny and also emotional speeches we had a stroll through the field with the sky turning all sorts of interesting colours. The evenings entertainment were the incredibly brilliant Groovy Revolution wedding band who I have worked with a few times recently. Everyone got into what was a great party. A fantastic day being a Owen House Barn wedding photographer, a huge congratulations to Jenny & Chris again and I am now looking forward to making their album. Big thank you to Daniel Murrientes who assisted on the day.
