Natural Wedding photography at Mitton Hall
I love being a Mitton Hall wedding photographer. Wow! What an incredible wedding at Mitton Hall this was. The venue is set in the heart of the Ribble Valley and is ran by the James’ Places group. I met with Sarah at her parents house for the bridal preparations, and also spent a short time with Andrew who got ready at the house next door. It was then a short drive to their local church for their wedding ceremony. Being autumn it was a little chilly but the weather was good, with the sun out pretty much all day.
Mitton Hall Hotel Wedding Reception
After the church service, it was then a drive over to their Mitton Hall Hotel wedding reception. Again the sun as out and although these conditions are tough to photograph in, it made for really creative shots. Mitton Hall Hotel has the most beautiful ‘old’ part to it, the original hall, which now has a quite famous chandelier (in photography circles) and a roaring open fire. The perfect place to assemble for drinks. Andrew and Sarah had hired wedding ace, Paul Guard to entertain the guests too. After a short period of relaxing, it was time to make use of the great weather and Andrew and Sarah took a walk together around the grounds of this spectacular Lancashire venue – Mitton Hall.
Wedding Photography For Couples Who Just Want To Enjoy Their Day
Paul Guard Wedding Singer/Entertainer
After some nice relaxed photos around the grounds of Mitton Hall, everyone was sat down enjoying the wedding breakfast, it was Paul Guard’s time to do his thing. I have worked with Paul a couple of times before and it has always been great to be part of such a good performance. He really gets the guests going, and has lots of fun. It didn’t take long before the entire room where singing and dancing. Paul is one of my recommended suppliers, if you are getting married and looking for a wedding singer then he’s the man for you – just brilliant. It doesn’t matter if you are getting married at Mitton Hall or not, I would recommend him for any venue.
Often when the sun has been out all day, when it comes to the evening cloud can cover the sky preventing a sunset, but this wasn’t the case for Andrew and Sarah. The clouds stayed away, and they enjoyed a jaw-dropping sunset together. Obviously this was a good time to seek a few more relaxed photos. A brilliant day to photograph, and a big thank you to Peter from Pixies in the Cellar for seconding me on the day. My wife was 41 weeks pregnant at the time of Sarah and Andrew wedding, and Peter was there to take over if I got a call and needed to leave.
