Meols Hall Wedding Photography – Gavin and Becky

wedding photo taken in field at Meols Hall

This was my first Meols Hall wedding and already looking forward to the next one. Becky wore the most amazing patterned silk and lace dress which you can see below – truly stunning. Then after an emotion few moments of her dad seeing her in the dress for the first time Gavin and Becky got married in church. A couple of my favourite photographs are of Becky and Gavin celebrating when they look back towards their guests just after the first kiss. After church they headed on to have their Meols Hall wedding reception which is situated near Southport, Lancashire.

Brass Band Entrance

A first for me, they walked down the drive of Meols Hall following a brass band as they went – so much fun!  The day was just beautiful and was perfect to go for a walk towards the bride over the river and head into the long grassy field for some gorgeous photos together. I love these photos, one of which you can see above, and many more below. The main barn was covered in quirky flowers pots and plants. The perfect back-drop to the sit down meal and the speeches. The light is incredible at Meols Hall actually, coming from behind them through the small windows. A joy to use a camera here.

Natural Photos

What a wedding at Meols Hall. Below are just a hundred of the 400 photos Gavin and Becky received to give you a taster of what to expect if you hired me as your wedding photographer. I photograph is a natural style – when a photo is taken for real, it becomes a real memory. To Gavin and Becky, thank you so much for asking me to be part of your special wedding day, I am now looking forward to creating you a beautiful album. David
