I was so excited to photograph at one of Cheshire’s best wedding venues, Hilltop Country House. The house itself has character and the gardens are a photographer’s dream! It rained for most of the morning and everyone was worried the guests wouldn’t be able to appreciate the beautiful grounds and gardens in all their glory. About half an hour before the wedding ceremony started, the rain stopped, and didn’t start again until the evening party started – what perfect timing? This was one amazing Hilltop wedding.
Darren and Tanya had booked me about 18 months in advance of their day, and really wanted photos taken in a natural and relaxed way. Darren nearly upstaged his bride by arriving in a monstrous Dodge Challenger, but would Tanya let this happen? – NO! her pair of bright pink converse shoes were the story of the day. A must see!
Whilst Darren and Tanya were eating their dessert, I notices that the clouds were parting and a very interesting sky was appearing. It was almost like a sunset, but because there was a lot of rain around, some fog too, and the sun still being quite high in the sky, the most incredible sky appeared in front of our eyes. This was an opportunity for some WOW photos that couldn’t be missed. I almost dragged them both out onto the lawn to get two incredible photos. Both a must see, scroll down!
A beautiful wedding from start to finish and I want to congratulate Darren and Tanya again on their awesome Hilltop wedding. Looking forward to designing and making your wedding album. David
