Gavin & Becky – Formby Point Beach Pre Wedding Session – February 2013

silhoette pre wedding photo by david stubbs photography

Yesterday afternoon I met with Gavin and Becky at Formby Point, Lancashire. Formby point is a beautiful place to visit with it’s Red Squirrel Woods, sand dunes and beautiful beach. It is quite possible my favorite location to have a pre wedding photo session because of it’s diversity and unique features. Despite it being February and very cold, they chose to have their pre wedding photo session within the woods, sand dunes and on the beach. We prayed that the sun would break through… and it did! The sky broke and began to look contrasty and moody, it was too much to resist so featured it in quite a few photos. It was worth the effort climbing up the sand dunes to find some interesting spots for photos.  So much fun from start to finish, Gavin and Becky are such a lovely couple and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding later in the year at Meols Hall, Southport. Enjoy looking through these and please feel free to comment at the bottom.

“Thanks for a great day David! We are both really pleased with the photographs. And thank you for making us feel relaxed as we were a bit nervous before we started! We just can’t wait for you to capture the special moments from our wedding now. Bring it on!”
