One of the best parts of my job as a Cheshire wedding photographer, is that I get to visit lots of stunning venues around the county. Becca & Jack asked me to photographer their Cheshire wedding at the magnificent Shrigley Hall. Becca works at the venue which added lots of extra pressure on myself, but was so thrilled to be invited to photographer their wedding day as Becca has seen countless numbers of photographers work at the venue, but had asked me – eeek.
Ace photographer and good friend Andrew Billington assisted me on the day. Jack & Becca got married at the little church around the corner in Pott Shrigley, a gorgeous church set in the Cheshire village. Although it was February and very much still winter, the sun came through in bursts making the church grounds look beautiful in the photographs. It was then back to the reception venue for drinks and the breakfast. We went for a short trip on a golf buggy to get some relaxed photos, and made best use of the sun breaking through and turning orange as it lowered in the sky. The venue was dressed and the floral arrangements where created by Precious Things who are based in Cheshire, near the venue. More of the story to follow…
Becca & Jack had a suprise for their guests -they had hired multi-award winning wedding entertainer Howard Wing for the breakfast. I’ve worked with Howard a few times before and he surprises me every time I see him getting all the guests up dancing and having an amazing time. The nest few photos speak for themselves. It makes life easy for a Cheshire wedding photographer like myself as their is so much fun happening around me I’m spoilt for choice with great photo opportunities.
What an incredible day. A massive thank you to Jack & Becca for inviting me to be their photographer and it was such a joy to be part of your wedding. I wish you both a life time of happiness together.
