As Emma and Anthony’s Abbeywood Estate wedding photographer, I wanted to give them a real feel of their wedding day in their photos. The only way to do this is by capturing the moments as they happen, for real, no contriving or staging, just real moments. Real moments captured = real memories when you look back at a photo. They made it very easy for me! What an amazing pair, a stunning venue – a feast for my camera.
It’s September and it’s starting to turn Autumn, but there are still plenty of summer flowers still in full bloom at this time of year at Abbeywood Estates. I’m so excited to tell and show you the photos we got in the evening, that I’ll only make a qucik mention of their lovley ceremony in the glass house, followed by drinks in the garden. After some small family group shots it was wedding breakfast time back in the glass house. This was followed by some VERY funny speeches. What a joy it is to be a Abbeywood Estates wedding photographer.
After the speeches, the sun got lower and lower and just at the right time I dashed inside and virtually dragged them both outside. Although the intention of this session was to get some great photos for the camera, it still wasn’t posed. I just asked them to walk towards the sun-set, and back. One of the final shots of the night was the photo you see above – wedding photography with the stars! One of my favoruite shots of the year! An incredible day, can’t wait for my next one at Abbeywood. Big congratulations to Emma and Anthony!
